I haven't seen gushing this good since the anime convention! Tell me, are there any other kaiju movies you would recommend? Big Lizards beating the shit out of each other sounds very appealing...

Hi. First things first, I hope you had a wonderful christmas.
Thank you. As I see everyone gushing over the Heisei Era, and almost no one talking about the Milennium Era on its own unless in a "every godzilla movie marathon", I still think there are some hidden gems lying around.
While I haven't been watching a lot of tokusatsu lately, I can still recommend you some. There's always the Gamera series: not as huge as Godzilla's catalog, but still has Eras of goofiness if you like the 70s corniness and weirdness and darkness if you like the 90s moodiness and seriousness; Ultraman, which is a huge ass metal man that fights monsters, and there's a lot of fights to unpack, including lots and lots of big lizard battles. As for others, you gotta dig deep. Kamen Rider and Power Rangers sure have robots fighting kaijus, even the 1970s japanese Spider Man (awesome series btw), but it sounds like that's not exactly what you're looking for.
